About eight hornets made it into the house, but we were prepared for them. We both got electronic bug zappers and quickly dispatched the infidels. They were so busy going at Neil that they were pretty easy pickings. Neil got about four hornet stings, but only two of them are hurting and there isn't really any swelling or other symptoms--just localized pain. Neil felt well enough to empty a spray can of hornet spray into the opening of the nest. It made him feel a little bit better.
In the end, the lawn got mowed and Neil was able to fill three garbage cans with leaves and other stuff that has fallen on the lawn this year. He will try to spread some mulch when we get the next dry spell. There is another series of rain storms coming in this weekend, so we will continue to work on in the house and in the RV projects.
Neil did find a Presidential candidate that he wants to vote for. It is currently a local write-in campaign that showed up in the Portland Oregonian. Here is some information on the candidate:
This candidate has a great plan that should be a howling success. Hopefully, you can click on the image below and it will enlarge so you can read it--if not, let me know and I will email it to you as a PDF,
We are having a good Fall so far, and hope that you are as well. Thanks for visiting!
Neil and Pamela
